The above provinces and their grouping into regions apply up until July 2025, after which administrative reforms reduced Vietnam's provincial units from 63 down to 34.
Harvest seasons for each region was taken from the Statistical analyses and forecasting reports of 2023 (National Statistics Office, 2024, p. 252-253), and assumed unchanged from 1995 to 2023.
My worm chart is a pretty wonky chart. 'Gravity' from the physics engine stretch the worms' length when they start to get a bit long and heavy. I included a brief period of length adjustment whenever a new chart is drawn (let 'gravity' work while slowly removing the worms' body segments until they're close to the right length), before the worms can wake up and join simulation. It's not super exact like a static bar chart, but I'm happy enough with showing just a general sense of proportion.
