Filter dogs (compatible with)
Some residences in VN set a weight limit for dogs at 10kg. This filter caps at 10kg to be safe, as pet regulations are still a point of contention in many places. Please check your apartment regulations beforehand.
Very gentle and patient dogs that get along well with kids under 12 years old. Kids should always be taught to respect a pet's personal space, but these dogs are better than others at tolerating human fumbling.
Dogs who enjoy being around other dogs. This filter excludes dogs who might be possessive, territorial or easily startled by other dogs, making them more suitable for single-pet households or experienced owners able to manage the pack.
Dogs who are known to get along with cats. All dogs are assumed unfriendly to cats until shown otherwise.
Most dogs enjoy some physical contact with people they trust, but these dogs really, really love cuddles. These include lapdogs and big ones that don't fit on your lap but may try to anyway. This filter excludes dogs who can be very loving but prefer to be off on their own.
Young dogs under 1 year old. Puppies require engaged owners willing to work on their training and cannot be left alone for extended periods of time. They tend to be more playful, energetic and develop their personality around their new humans.
Dogs 8 years old or older. They tend to have more established personality and habits, may prefer calmer households, and need you to pay attention to their health. Also much less likely to wreck your furniture.
Dogs with any permanent condition like missing teeth, walking with a limp, incontinence, deafness, or dementia. Some cases are due to a history of neglect and abuse. Diseases like E-canis, demodex, malnutrition, etc. are excluded, as Laws for Paws ensures all dogs receive medical care and are in their best shape before adoption.
Dogs trained to do their business either outdoors, on walks, or in designated places like hygienic mats and toilets.
Dogs who get that it's you walking them and not the other way around.
